KAITLYN O'CONNELL RODRIGUEZ
Director of Member Relations
Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts
Kaitlyn O’Connell Rodriguez serves as director of member relations for the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (AICUM). In addition to strengthening the existing relationships with AICUM’s 60 members, she manages AICUM’s affiliate membership program, which offers organizations the opportunity to support Massachusetts higher education. She also coordinates projects and initiatives such as Kids to College, a college introductory program for sixth-graders. Ms. Rodriguez plans all of AICUM’s events and ensures that AICUM is financially and operationally sound.
Before joining AICUM in May 2006, Ms. Rodriguez interned for the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center, a not-for-profit organization that supports compassionate health care. She helped to organize the center’s 11th annual dinner for 1,700 attendees.
Ms. Rodriguez received her master's degree in public administration, summa cum laude, with a nonprofit management concentration at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. She also has a bachelor’s degree in communication from Curry College, where she was named to the Dean’s List.
